Nouvel Catholic Central, Bishop Robert Gruss, the Office of Catholic Schools, and the Board of Trustees are proud to announce the selection of Dr. Molly Macek for the position of Nouvel Catholic Central High School and Junior High Principal, effective July 1, 2026. 

Dr. Macek brings nearly two decades of experience in educational leadership, policy and instruction across Catholic, private, and public education systems, as well as higher education settings. Her background includes leading secondary school initiatives, developing innovative STEAM and experiential learning programs, mentoring doctoral candidates, and advancing statewide education policy through research, legislative engagement and strategic advocacy. Through her vast educational experience, she has consistently demonstrated a commitment to academic excellence, student success, faculty development, and collaborative leadership. 

Bishop Gruss shared, “I have great confidence in Dr. Macek’s ability to lead Nouvel Catholic Central into its next chapter. She is a faith-filled leader whom I believe is capable of taking the school to the next level. Having already been a valued part of the Nouvel community, she is exceptionally well-suited to serve as the school’s next principal. I look forward to supporting her and working with her in any way that I can. May the Lord bless her in her new ministry.”
