Theater can be an elective or extra-curricular for our students. We offer theater at the junior high and high school level, with multiple offerings.
Fall & Spring Productions
We proudly host 2 productions each year, with students in grades 4th though 12th a part of the shows. Our students work together on all aspects. The magic makers behind the scenes handle lights, sound, choreography, props and costumes. Opportunities for our actors can be a lead role, part of the ensemble and/or something in between. Our older Panthers mentor and coach our elementary students as young as 4th grade that are part of the production.
Competitions
The high school and junior high actors also have the option to compete at a theater festival(s), MIFA One-Act, and Forensics (Speech) competitions. With strong performances, they have been invited to compete at the State level each year.
