At Nouvel Catholic Central, our athletic program helps student-athletes grow through education, competition and character development, preparing them for success both in sports and life.

Nouvel teams have won 36 State Championship/runner up finishes and 83 MHSAA Regional Championships. Our program has proudly produced 4 MHSAA Scholar-Athlete Scholarship recipients, many finalists and numerous Academic All-State and MHSAA Good Sports winning teams. In the last few years, we've had 2 Individual State Champions.

Nouvel offers 22 varsity and club sports with more than a 90% participation rate among our high school students. Research indicates a strong and positive correlation between high school sports participation and academic achievement. Lessons learned on the playing field are lifelong; sportsmanship, leadership, respect, honor and discipline.

Our Panthers study hard, but they also play hard! More than 70% play multiple sports, while also participating in other extracurriculars. Nouvel is the perfect size to provide unlimited possibilities for students to participate in all the opportunities they want to pursue.

There is a legacy of exceptional teams and that continues today. Each year, individuals and teams do well in conference and regional play, with opportunities to compete at the state level. We are also proud to offer year round training at our State-of-the-Art on-campus Performance Training Center and access to our fulltime Athletic Trainer.
