For the 2025-2026 school year, we are thrilled to expand our afterschool opportunities to support our students and families at the high school & junior high campus.
We will continue to offer Panther Academic Support Services (PASS) in the Media Center most Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3 to 4 p.m. and is staffed by NCCHS/JH faculty. Students attending PASS can receive tutoring and homework support as well as organizational and/or other academic support. All PASS services are tailored to meet the needs of each individual student. There is no registration for PASS and it is a drop-in service available to our Panthers. More information on PASS is available under academic support or clicking this link.
A new program, Beyond the Bells, will be a further expansion of PASS. Below are a few details:
The afterschool program will be offered from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday in the Media Center, on all full days of school.
A staff member will be present and supervising our Panthers during this time. The staff member will be available to answer questions but may not be able to offer the level of tutoring that PASS does, after 4 p.m.
The program will not be offered on half-days.
There is no cost to high school and junior high families.
The program will be offered by registration only and may be cancelled, if no one has registered for that day. We ask that families register by Thursday the prior week to make sure we have a staff member available.
Students can be picked up after 4 p.m. using the front entrance that faces Wieneke Rd.
