We offer a wide range of classes at Nouvel to meet the needs and interests of each of our students.
Our junior high curriculum starts with different levels for core subject areas and electives to explore interests and further develop their talents. It's enough to offer choices but not too much to overwhelm as they continue to grow academically, emotionally, socially and spiritually. You can view the most recent junior high offerings on our junior high information sheet.
Once our Panthers transition to high school, classes are at the college prep, honors and advanced placement levels. In addition, we offer a variety electives to help students explore topics they may be interested in or potential career choices. Independent study classes, supervised by an instructor, may also be an option for those students looking to dive into material, beyond what may be covered in a current class.
We are able to supplement our curriculum with classes offered through Michigan Virtual, which includes many additional electives. Some of our students also elect to take dual enrollment classes through Delta College. Both of these online course options are during the school day, located in a classroom or the media center, where a staff member is present to assist, if needed.
Juniors and seniors have the option of attending the Saginaw Career Complex (SCC) which offers practical, hands-on career and technical education, including work-based learning experiences.
