A few of our junior high students competed at the Michigan Interscholastic Forensics Association (MIFA) Spring Middle Level State Tournament in Detroit on Saturday, May 2nd. It was an all day competition with 12 categories. Through forensic speech and interpretation events, students develop performance, analytical and public speaking skills. Congratulations to Eleanor Lange, who placed 2nd at States in oral declamation for a speech on climate change and Faith Crosdale who was a semifinalist for poetry!
