Mr. Matt Solek is our Athletic Director for all athletic programs young fives through 12th grade for Nouvel for the last 4 years.  Mr. Solek is a Nouvel Alumnus, Class of 1993. He has a Bachelor's Degree from Saginaw Valley State University in Criminal Justice. He is the owner of Sunshine Pools since 2000, and is the President and Coaching Director of Saginaw Township Soccer Association since 2014.

In addition to being our Athletic Director, he has coached the girls soccer program for 11 years. Coach Solek shared, "I love working with kids that want to be the best version of themselves. I love the family atmosphere and the traditions at Nouvel."

He has been married to Misti for 26 years and they have 4 proud Panthers, Liberty (c/o 2014), Maci (c/o 2018), Sterling (c/o 2022) and current Panther, Manning (c/o 2028). The family belongs to St. Thomas Aquinas Parish.
