Mr. Jason Payne graduated from Saginaw Valley State University with a general Bachelor's Degree with minors is philosophy and religious studies. He then graduated from Catholic Distance University with a Master's Degree in Theology.

Mr. Payne has taught at Nouvel for 4 years and is also the boys' Varsity Tennis Coach. He is a Nouvel alumnus and shared, "I love the opportunity to share the faith and form the students into better disciples of Christ. I look forward to seeing the progress students make in improving their relationship and understanding of Jesus."

The Payne family are members of the Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption.
