Mrs. Deanna Darby serves as the Junior High English & Language Arts Instructor, and teaches a high school class. She has a secondary teaching degree from Saginaw Valley State University with a double major in English and Communications.  She has completed several hours and various courses of comprehensive instruction on writing strategies working toward achieving a reading specialist degree.  

She has taught at Nouvel for 16 years and previously taught for 10 in Freeland School District. She loves teaching at Nouvel because, "Nouvel has a small community feel." 

My "One Word" to describe Nouvel: STRONG
