Mrs. Diane Damsen graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science degree, with a major in Social Sciences and minor in Mathematics. She previously taught at a couple of schools, including St. Stephen School. During the merger of the Catholic Schools in Saginaw, she became the Math Interventionist at Nouvel Elementary.
She shared, "I love coming to school because of the people here! The staff is professional and friendly. The children are very respectful, and the parents are appreciative. Everyone is like a family." As the Math Interventionalist, she loves watching her students grow in their math skills and is always amazed at the progress they make.
Mrs. Damsen is proud to work with her daughter, Mrs. Jodi Decuf, who is the STEM teacher, and her son-in-law, Mr. Dan Decuf, our Head of School. She was a member of the 1st graduating class at St. Stephen High School and first husband, Joseph Blanke, is a member of the Saginaw Alumni Hall of Fame.
