Mrs. Kira (Deisler) Garland is an alumna of Nouvel Catholic Central, Class of 2008. She graduated from Saginaw Valley State University with a Bachelor of Arts, Secondary Education/Spanish. She previously taught for 11 years as a Spanish teacher and Director of Student Activities for Clearwater Central Catholic High School in Clearwater, Florida and 1 year as a Spanish teacher at Saginaw High School. 

Mrs. Garland shared, "I love seeing my girls every day, I am thankful we get to pray everyday and celebrate Mass together as a community and I love that Nouvel just feels like home."

As she reflects on this school year, she shared, "I am looking forward to settling in to my new role overseeing the library and continuing to grow our Spanish program."

Her girls, Stella and Sloan, are proud Panthers. The family are members of St. Thomas Aquinas Parish.
