Ms. Christa Schubert is known to her students at Profe Schubert. She joined Nouvel in the 2024-25 school year after she taught and retired from Bay City Schools after 25 years. She has a Bachelor's Degree from Saginaw Valley State University in French, Spanish and Education. She then received her Master's from Central Michigan University in Educational Technology. She holds a bilingual certification from Saginaw Valley State University.
Profe Schubert is excited to add French this year. She shared, "Teaching at Nouvel feels like being part of a big family! I truly love that student friendships cross grade boundaries and the sense of community among staff and students is heartwarming. Our Panthers are driven to learn and to become stewards of kindness and compassion. It's a learning space that is positively unique."
She lives in Bay City and is the proud auntie of two nephews, Connor and Logan, who live in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and attend Our Lady of Perpetual Help (OLPH). Thankfully, technology helps her feel close to them. Her favorite school hobbies are cooking, participating in the Spanish Mass and brainstorming great ideas for the annual haunted hallway.
My "One Word" to describe Nouvel: JOYFUL
