To customize your learning experience, you are able to choose which elective coursework you would like to participate in. In addition to elective offerings, each student will be scheduled for the following coursework which was outlined in your personalized class placement letter.Please note that placements are not meant to label or limit you; rather, we want to make sure that your educational experience best fits your individual strengths and interests.Should you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Mrs. Boros at any time!

- 7th Grade Math, Foundations: This course is intended to strengthen math foundations for our 7th graders. Students will follow 7th grade math curriculum, but will also be provided instruction and support related to foundational math skills that they have not yet demonstrated mastery in.

To provide a wider array of elective offerings, the electives listed above will be offered to all junior high students and will include 7th and 8th grade students together, unless otherwise indicated. Please note that course offerings are subject to change based on student demand, staffing, or as determined by administration. Moreover, there are varying seat capacities for each course. Selections are subject to availability on a first come, first serve basis. Priority will be given to students who are officially registered for the 2026-2027 school year and students who are not officially registered will not secure a space in a course until registration is complete and course selection form is submitted.

- Junior High Medical Detectives
- Junior High STEM Elective
- Musical Theater (integrated with high school students)
- Forensic Speech (integrated with high schools students)
In addition to the electives listed above, all students who earn one "F" or more than one "D" on their 1st semester report card will be required to take Mastery Skills during 2nd semester, in place of their chosen elective. Mastery Skills will focus on time management, organization, learning strategies & study skills, as well as emphasize the importance of work completion and personal responsibility.
