Mrs. Pam Sowatsky graduated from Saginaw Valley State University with a major in Elementary Education and minor in Child Development. She has taught at Nouvel (and previously St. Thomas Aquinas) for 27 years. Prior this, she taught third grade at St. Josaphat School in Carrolton for twelve years.
Mrs. Sowatsky shared, "I love working with the students and families at Nouvel. They are wonderful! I have also made many friends and worked with many excellent teachers through the years. I have a job that I love going to each day, and that has been a blessing." As she prepares for a new school year, she looks forward to, " working with my students and watching them grow throughout the year. They will grow in so many ways. I will see them grow academically, physically, and spiritually. They will grow in maturity, too. It's exciting to be a part of that!"
She is married and has two grown children, who both graduated from Nouvel. Christopher lives and works in Nashville. Kerry lives in Grand Rapids and she is also a teacher. Mrs. Sowatsky belongs to St. Thomas Aquinas Church, but often attends churches up north in the summer and Bay City since moving there several years ago.
