Mrs. Mary Albers graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor's of Science in Secondary Business Education and went on to Saginaw Valley State University to earn an endorsement in Elementary Education. She began her teaching career in the Saginaw Diocese teaching third grade at St. Peter & Paul Elementary for five years. From there she taught in the Saginaw Public School System for twelve years. Finally, Mrs. Albers returned to the Catholic Education System where she has been teaching for the last 10 years.
She shared. "I love working at Nouvel because of the close knit community. Everyone knows each other, supports one another, cares about one another. We are one big family."
She considers herself fortunate to attend St. Peter and Paul Catholic School when she was growing up and wanted the same for her children. Her husband, Tim, and her have two boys that have attended Nouvel Catholic Central. Andrew graduated and Jacob is currently a Junior. She said, "I am so proud of them and the education they are getting to prepare them for the world. I wouldn't have it any other way."
