Thank you for registering your son/daughter for one of our outstanding Young Fives or Kindergarten programs. The next step for students who will turn 5 on or before September 1, 2025 is to come in for a Gesell Developmental Assessment. The assessment typically takes 45 minutes and is with one of our current staff members. Parents are welcome to wait in the school while the assessment takes place or come back near the end of the assessment. Our admissions office will have a waiting area for families in the library, fully stocked with hot coffee, tea or water while you wait.

If you are a current NCC family, parental attendance isn't mandatory as we can work with your child's teacher to ensure their assessment is administered while they are on campus, but we always welcome parents if you'd like to be part of the process. 

Please note, each child will need to have a new student application on file, submitted prior to the Assessment. 

Information will be shared with families about your child's developmental assessment around March 20th.
